Aikijutsu, or the art of blending with energy is a way of approaching,
not only open hand techniques, but all forms of weapons and combinations of these.
Students begin with open hand as that is the most immediately practical,
but the forms learned at this level art simply the central core to an ever evolving system.
This system represents the Do or Tao of the School and is known as
the Shin Bugei Aiki Hyaku Pan Do (New Warriors' Way of the Hundred Aiki Arts)
It is the duty of every Bushi (warrior) to be skilled not only in existing Bujutsu (martial arts)
but also in the development of new forms of tactics in Tanjutsu (weapons skills and battle strategy)
Thus the term Bugei Hyaku Pan (warriors' hundred arts) represents infinite knowledge of martial arts
This is one of the purposes of Aiki Ten Shin Sho Kai and Aikijutsu is paramount
not only to the linking, but also the understanding of the other arts within the School.
